"At first, I was not going to do weaving at all. I thought it was just a boring thing to do, but I had to do it because it was a class. When I started weaving, I thought "This is cool! Then I kept weaving the rest of the week."

There is no "beginning" or "advanced" class. One of the SAORI slogans is "Learn as a Group". We also learn from each other.

Come learn not only how to weave, but also about the people around you!! That is a part of "SAORI" that is fun we believe.

Class Time:
Saturdays 1:30-3:30 (2 hours a session)
Sundays (By appointment / 2 hours)

There will be more SAORI classes available during the week and evenings starting in September.

If you would like, you can stay longer by paying an extra fee. Please let us know in advance.

Fee: $20 (including material/extra material fee for silk and other special material)

SAORI Birthday Parties

You can reserve the whole studio for your birthday party! We can accommodate up to 8 people starting around 4 years old depending on height. You can take whatever you weave home with you!

Please let us know the date, number of people to weave and whether you choose either plan A or B at the time you arrange the party.

A. 2 hours of SAORI weaving plus 30 minutes for cupcakes, opening presents etc…
(Total time at Studio FUN: 2.5 hour party).

Fee: $23 per person with materials.

B.1.5 hours of SAORI weaving plus 30 minutes for cupcakes, opening presents etc… (Total time at Studio FUN: 2 hour party).

Fee: $20 per person with materials

Intensive Class
If can't come to take regular SAORI classes because you live far away? Then this is for you!

With our B&B option, you can stay in the room next to the studio in our home and weave as long as you want!
(B&B option up to 2 people)

Fee: $200 plus material ($20-25)
